Job Responsibilities / Duties
Takes a lead role in managing and coordinating MCI personnel and subcontractors on-site to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
Interfaces with and fosters relationships with owners, architects, engineers, design professionals, and municipalities to ensure the design intent is fulfilled
Develops and updates project schedules and works with Project Managers to effectively manage costs
Maintains, updates, and reviews all job site records and documents, including plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, daily logs, delivery tickets, timecards, and project photos
Leads project close-out processes, including punch lists, commissioning, and owner training
Sets expectations for maintaining a clean and orderly site and construction office
Contributes to the development of McGann field staff and advocates for improving overall firm-wide competency
Qualifications / Skills / Requirements
Ability to read, understand, and interpret all project documents
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project), Bluebeam, Adobe, and Autodesk/Build software
Possesses a clear understanding of the challenges associated with working in dynamic environments on multi-family and commercial projects
Physical demands include the ability to navigate construction job sites and occasionally assist with lifting materials and/or products within reason
Education, Training, Certifications, & Licenses
Valid Wisconsin state driver’s license
High school diploma
OSHA 30 certification (preferred)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Responsibilities / Duties
Load and unload materials, equipment, and tools
Operate and perform minor maintenance on all-terrain forklifts, skid steers, and boom lifts
Perform general clean-up and maintain organization of work and laydown areas
Assist with constructing temporary enclosures and safety barriers
Conduct inventory of tools and equipment
Post signage and build/install railings, barriers, and similar safety features
Assist other tradespeople and actively seek opportunities to learn on the job
Distribute and maintain temporary heat systems and fans to ensure air quality
Install floor and wall protection as needed
Perform specialized tasks that may require on-the-job training
Carry out all other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Skills / Requirements
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating effectively with co-workers
Physically able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
Basic knowledge of hand and power tool usage
Demonstrates punctuality and consistent attendance

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
SIDING
Must display experience and competency installing a range of siding materials, with emphasis on Cement Board and LP Siding
Ensures that substrate is acceptable prior to installation of siding materials
Measures, cuts, trims, and installs siding per manufacturer’s recommendations for a weather-tight install
Cuts, bends, and breaks sheet metal flashings at openings and decks
Proficient in caulking for a clean, watertight application
Installs soffit and fascia panels/boards
Familiar with the use of all necessary tools, such as hand tools, saws, and nailers
Has the ability, experience, and training to safely operate man-baskets and all-terrain forklifts
Performs all other duties as assigned, safely and effectively
FINISH TRIM CARPENTRY
Has thorough knowledge and experience installing wood or composite finishes on building interiors
Measures, cuts, and installs—with precision—a wide range of finish carpentry materials, including but not limited to:
Baseboard
Casing
Doors
Crown moldings
Shelving components
Reads, interprets, and installs cabinets per approved shop drawings/plans
Installs doors for proper alignment and functionality
Installs door and cabinet hardware, along with bath accessories
Installs stair stringers, handrails, and balusters for a tight fit
Demonstrates the mathematical competency necessary for tasks, along with problem-solving skills to overcome unforeseen challenges
Utilizes hand and power tools for tight, clean, aesthetically appealing installations
Has the physical stamina to complete work
Performs all other duties as assigned, safely and effectively
ROUGH CARPENTRY
Constructs and erects the main wood building structure, including walls, floors, stairs, roofs, decks, and associated fasteners and hangers
Installs exterior doors and windows within specified tolerances for smooth operation
Installs temporary railings and enclosures as needed
Understands how to properly use all necessary hand and power tools for rough carpentry tasks
Ensures all installed components are plumb, level, and within necessary tolerances
Competent in the use of ladders, scaffolding, and hand and power tools
Has the ability, experience, and training to safely operate man-baskets and all-terrain forklifts
Performs all other duties as assigned, safely and effectively
